The Neck Pendulum Test Stand is used to certify rubber components, mostly neck and lumbar assemblies, of ATDs. Depending on the dummy and the application different test modes are considered: flexion, extension, torsion, and lateral impacts. Dedicated fixtures to run these tests are available.
The Cellbond pendulum is compliant with specifications as written in the United States Code of Federal Regulation, Title 49, Part 572.
