Wednesday 12th December will see an interesting discussion at the carhs Euro NCAP Update event on the future of Passive Pedestrian Protection from 2022 onwards.
Professor Andre Seeck, Director of BASt – German Federal Highway Research Institute will give an overview of the new Rating, following which there will be three consecutive presentations about Passive Pedestrian Protection from 2022. Professor Seeck will be joined by Humanetics Europe’s Dr Thomas Kinsky who will be talking about the FlexPLI with Upper Body Mass, followed by Cellbond’s Paul Lemmen with his presentation on the aPLI with simplified Upper Body Mass.
