Senior Marketing Executive Wendy Wiltshire attended the South East Regional Final of the Future Manufacturing Awards yesterday, along with Head of Engineering, Matt Dyer, and apprentice Clinton Elkin.
The event was hosted by eef, the manufacturers’ organisation, and was held at Epsom Racecourse, on the beautiful Epsom Downs.
We are thrilled to report that Cellbond did exceptionally well, with Clinton receiving a Highly Commended Award for his First Year Apprentice category. We are extremely proud of him and greatly value the contribution that he makes to the business.
In addition to this, Cellbond were runners up in the highly competitive Export and Business Growth categories, and winners of the Environmental Award.
The next stage of the awards takes place in December, with the national final held at the Connaught Rooms, London, on 31st January 2017.
We would like to congratulate all of the other category winners, with whom we have many common values – the importance of UK manufacturing, providing meaningful apprenticeships for the engineers of the future, encouraging women to take up careers in engineering, using the skills and innovation of our research and development team and providing secure employment by producing the best quality products that are in demand across the globe.
If you are interested in working for an award winning global innovator, please contact Ele Castellazzi who can tell you about our current vacancies.
