An intricate new environmental device has been installed at Cellbond’s UK premises to help the company become more ‘green’. The company now employs an evaporative cooling system within its sales and marketing building to cool air through the evaporation of water. This system runs through the entirety of both levels of the building in Cambridgeshire, UK. In addition, the company has made arrangements to shave a massive 68% from its total water consumption bill, with a payback period of just four and a half months. Cellbond will continue to monitor energy and water use within its premises and is now looking at ways to further increase the efficiency of the cooling, heating and lighting systems.
