PressLoad is a low-cost component particularly suitable for high-volume mass production as it can be manufactured from a range of metal sheets (cold forming) or thermoplastic materials (thermoforming/injection moulding). The fundamental structure of the PressLoad principle, whether in its raw shape or sandwiched, makes it possible for wiring to pass along the panel / energy absorber.

A recently completed test programme shows that PressLoad performs on a level equal to Honeycomb and outperforms other energy absorbers such as PUR Foam, EPS and plastic ribs.
In addition to its superior performance, PressLoad allows for a low-cost, fully automated production method for high quantities; plastic injection moulding.
